Visual design is so much more than simply going to a design agency, getting some pretty looking image files and then creating web versions of these pages. Core to the whole visual design process is the user experience, and ensuring that the design is built with *your* users in mind.

As you will see in the section on User Testing, involving the user iin the heart of the design process is key to our approach. We work with specific visual design partners who adopt a User-centred design process.

User-centred design ensures that at every stage of the design process the user is considered. This involves the creation of defined users, and the scenarios through which they will use your site or product. From these users or personas as we like to call them, the key scenarios are determined.
